Poetry in Motion

There are moments in time when movement becomes music, and Poetry in Motion is just that—an ode to grace and precision. A dappled grey thoroughbred, caught mid-piaf, seems almost to be dancing in place. The dressage world might call it technique, but here it’s transformed into something else entirely: rhythm made visible.

Pam shaped this piece from Styrofoam and finished it with layers of acrylic paint, giving depth to the textures and subtle motion to the musculature. At 31 inches high by 39 inches wide and 3 inches deep, it lives somewhere between sculpture and story—a moment of quiet intensity that speaks straight to the soul.
